When you call Elite Local Pros, you talk to someone who actually builds decks and remodels homes for a living. No call center. No off-shore scheduler. We answer questions the same day and book on-site visits within the week for most Dallas projects.

We come out, measure your yard, look at your slope and soil, and put together a written quote before we leave. No high-pressure sales, no vanishing after we shake hands.

Elite Local Pros is a Dallas-based general contractor built around one belief: your home should work as hard as you do, inside and out. Decks are what we build most. We also handle the outdoor living, kitchen, bath, flooring, and full addition work that turns a house into a place you actually want to stay in.
We have been building in Dallas since 2020. That includes homes in Lakewood, Preston Hollow, Oak Cliff, the M Streets, Bishop Arts, Kessler Park, and Bluffview. Every project starts on-site, not over email. Our owner, Isaiah, still runs jobsites and reviews every design before it reaches the crew.
Fully insured. Bonded where required. Registered with the City of Dallas Building Inspection.

Dallas is not an easy climate to build for. Summer highs push some decking materials to their limits. The Blackland Prairie clay under most DFW yards swells and shrinks with every rain, which is rough on shallow footings. Spring storms drop several inches in an afternoon, so drainage cannot be an afterthought.
We build with all of that in mind. Deck footings go deep enough to sit below the active soil zone, usually 4 to 6 feet on our jobs. We spec composite boards and hardware rated for Texas heat and UV. And we plan yard grading and French drains before we frame anything.
Our crews work in every part of the city: Lakewood, Preston Hollow, Oak Cliff, the M Streets, Bishop Arts, Kessler Park, Bluffview, Lake Highlands, White Rock, and Casa Linda. We stay inside Dallas by choice. It keeps our crews close to their job sites, cuts drive time on service visits, and lets us build a reputation on names our neighbors recognize. HOA submittals, City of Dallas permits, and inspector visits are part of the job. We handle them so you do not have to

Cedar, pressure-treated pine, and composite lines like Trex, TimberTech, and Deckorators. Ground-level platforms, second-story attached decks, and multi-level builds with built-in benches, planters, and pergola tie-ins. We handle the design, engineering when required, city permits, and final inspection.

Attached covered patios, freestanding pergolas, outdoor kitchens, and stone fireplaces. Great for keeping the backyard usable in July and August. We match roofing materials and rooflines to your existing home so the addition looks intentional, not bolted on.

Tub-to-shower conversions, tile showers, vanity replacements, and full gut remodels. All plumbing rough-ins, electrical, and waterproofing done to Dallas code, with permits pulled where required.

Cabinet installs (custom, semi-custom, or refaced), quartz and granite countertops, backsplash tile, and full layout changes with plumbing and electrical relocations. We plan the sequence tight so your kitchen is not offline any longer than it has to be.

Hardwood, engineered wood, luxury vinyl plank, tile, and carpet installation. We handle subfloor prep, trim work, and clean transitions between rooms so the finish sits flat and quiet underfoot for the long run.

Ground-up custom builds, room additions, second-story pop-tops, and garage conversions. Design, engineering, permits, framing, and finish work all handled by one contractor so accountability stays in one place.

Every deck and remodel we finish gets documented and added to our portfolio. We can share addresses in your neighborhood so you can drive by and see the work in person before you sign anything.

You get an itemized quote with materials, labor, and timeline in writing. No "we ran into something" surprises halfway through. If site conditions change during excavation, we stop, explain, and get your approval before we keep going.

We do not stack projects on one crew. When your build starts, the team stays on your job until it is done. That is why we finish decks in weeks instead of dragging out for months.

General liability and workers' compensation. We send certificates directly to your HOA or property manager before day one when it is asked for.

Two-year workmanship warranty on all builds, on top of the manufacturer warranty on composite decking. Warranty issues get routed back to the same lead who ran the original project.

If a repair makes more sense than a rebuild, we say so. If your budget fits a smaller footprint better, we say so. Our best jobs come from homeowners who felt heard, not sold.

We come out, walk the yard, take measurements, and ask what you actually want to do with the space. You get a written, itemized quote and a project timeline within 48 hours.
Permits pulled where required. Weekly progress updates by text. A final walkthrough with you before we call the job done. Then we back it with our two-year workmanship warranty.
Yes, in most cases. The City of Dallas requires a building permit for decks attached to the home, decks over 30 inches above grade, and any structure with a roof. Rules vary in Plano, Frisco, and other DFW suburbs. We handle the permit application, plans submittal, and inspection scheduling for every project we build.
Most single-level decks take 2 to 4 weeks from permit approval to final walkthrough. Larger multi-level builds, covered patios, or projects that include drainage and hardscaping usually run 4 to 8 weeks. Weather delays happen in spring, and we build extra time into every schedule to keep the finish date honest.
Composite decking from Trex, TimberTech, or Deckorators holds up best to Dallas summers. It resists warping, does not need yearly staining, and stays cooler under bare feet than older composite lines. Cedar and pressure-treated pine still work well if you like the natural wood look and plan to seal every 2 to 3 years.
Realistic 2026 price ranges for a fully built and permitted deck in DFW:
Basic pressure-treated pine deck: $35 to $50 per square foot installed
Cedar deck: $50 to $75 per square foot installed
Composite deck (Trex, TimberTech, Deckorators): $70 to $110 per square foot installed
Covered composite deck with roof structure: $150 to $250 per square foot installed
Site conditions, drainage work, railings, stairs, and built-ins all affect the final number. We put everything in writing before any work starts so there are no surprises.
Texas does not issue a state-level general contractor's license, but the City of Dallas and every major DFW suburb require registered and insured contractors for permitted work. Elite Local Pros is registered with the City of Dallas and other applicable jurisdictions, and we carry general liability plus workers' compensation insurance. We send certificates of insurance to any HOA or homeowner who asks.
Yes. We prepare the drawings, material specs, and site plan your HOA needs, and we submit them on your behalf. If revisions come back, we handle the back and forth so you do not have to.
A two-year workmanship warranty on every deck, patio cover, and remodel we build. Composite decking also carries the manufacturer warranty, which runs 25 to 50 years depending on the product line.
Both. We take on single-room projects (a bathroom, a kitchen, a flooring refresh) and full whole-home renovations. For larger scopes, we sequence trades so you are living around one active area at a time instead of the entire house being torn up at once.
